LSIK’s Amusement Countdown Posters! Krisis identitas yaa.

"Bangun tidur Anda minum apa? Aqua (74% sahamnya milik Danone, Perancis) atau Teh Sariwangi (100% milik Unilever, Inggris) atau minum susu SGM (82% sahamnya dikuasai Numico, Belanda). Lalu, mandi pake Lux atau Pepsodent (Unilever, Inggris). Sarapan, berasnya beras impor dari Thailand. Santai habis makan, rokoknya Sampoerna (97% sahamnya milik Phillip Morris, Amerika Serikat). Masih bangga jadi orang Indonesia? Cuma koruptornya saja yang asli Indonesia. Sedih kan?"

Well

Saya percaya, dibalik setiap keputusan yang kita ambil, Allah punya rencana yang jauh lebih baik untuk kita. Even the decision of letting go one of the valuable opportunity that you’ve struggled for, where this is the last year to get that opportunity. Penyesalan memang selalu datang di akhir ya :’)

Opposites

So, an awkward wondering session. It just flew through my mind; updates. There are so many social networks appearing since the 20th century, with the most common ones such as facebook, twitter, formspring, tumblr, hmm what else, well there’s a lot! Every of those socnets have their own main functions e.g facebook where you can have a conversation perhaps, photo tagging, groups, and so on. Twitter where you can share about what’s on your mind, what are you doing, and so on. Tumblr where, well, you can share lotsa things, share your interests, or perhaps make it as your diary where you can share your problems maybe (even though i don’t really prefer sharing my problems explicitly in soc-nets), etc.

What i’m saying is, you know that each socnets have their own functions. But somehow it just appears that some people shared too much in those socnets. For example connecting your tweets to blackberry messenger’s status, having this long conversation with someone within their tweets (I mean you can do it in a private conversation), updating about where you are where are you going to etc in your bbm’s status, or sharing those very private problems in their tweets.

Not that i’m being offensive or somewhat, but I have this curiosity about the reason why those people do that much updates in places that is inadequate. Especially since every single updates you make can be read by others. I mean, there are other soc-nets that provides you for those kind of updates (please say that you understand what i mean). Is it a pleasure for them, or they’re finding attentions, show off, or there is another reason? Underline the word ”curiosity”. It’s not that i’m insulting, or judging, or anything other negative reaction. Because me myself don’t really like to share explicitly because everyone can see, read, and know about my personal life. That was also my reason for protecting my tweets (setting it as private). Other examples such as Tumblr where anyone can open our page and read anything posted and it avoids me from sharing personal things here. Maybe it sounds weird, but that’s why I really wanna know reasons from those who have an opposite perspectives from me. Well it’s also related to my major that requires a systemic-thinking. I can say so :D
